if you have dick pics in your submitted posts please do not fave my stuff because when i hover your name in my notifs i am going to see your penis. good bye have a nice day perish
i like to upload every doodle i make but then when i look at anything i upload to main gallery, the suggested artwork on the side is either my old stuff or the shitpost doodles why deviantart why yu are like this eat pant
I went back and put tags on a bunch of older art (specifically tags like "anthro anthrofurry digitalart" etc) and also on my most recent upload(s), cuz I've noticed that it's a bit difficult to find and view new art, specifically to view All Recent Uploads or etc (have to go to home page and scroll down, doesn't have its own dedicated page, only shows 14? pics and you can't scroll any further; there used to be a dedicated page on the dropdown menu with a little sapling icon when they first moved it away from the homepage).
I'm guessing that deviantArt website did that because of the volume of uploads (as deviantArt has been around for A Longass Time, afterall), and to hide lower quality submissions (low-quality meaning anything from very beginner art, to spammy type shitpost stuff, grandma uploading her photo reel, etc.). Instead on the homepage you only get whatever is "Hot"/popular/trending/etc. at the time. Kind of reminds me of other social medias, finna be doing numbers and eat algorithm.
Anyway basically I'm gonna put in the minimum amount of effort to actually let people find my art lol (instead of using dA as basically an art archive). I don't particularly want to submit the stuff to groups tho, too much effort (and spammy if I send a bunch of old things, gonna push other people out). So just tags, and maybe a title that isn't literally the filename.
here's the tags I'm gonna put on like everything I make now: "anthro anthrofurry digitalart digitalartist furry furryanthro furryart furryartist" usually put a couple bonus tags on there too depending on context, e.g. "chibi" or "furrygirl" (incredibly dangerous tag to apply)
you know actually, having default tags/templates would be nice
also first journal post after 10 years woo
